This week we had picked up the Author - Dr. Chef Vinoth Kumar

Dr. Chef Vinoth Kumar is of Thirunelveli native. He was born and brought up in a middle-class family in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. 

Dr. Vinoth has always had an ardent passion towards Carving and Culinary industry which he developed into his career path. 

His hard working nature and quest for knowledge have rewarded him with success in leaps and bounds that he is now among the renowned and top-ranked Chefs in India. 

He strongly believes that ‘Encouragement’ is the key factor of motivation! 

Comments, reviews, and corrections from expert hands have shaped up his career, and he does the same to his fellow Students and Followers. 

Dr. Chef  Vinoth is multi-faceted; he serves as the CEO / Chief Trainer of Sai Institutions - India’s leading Hotel Management Institution. 

Dr.Chef Vinoth Kumar holds 20 years of enviable professional experience in the hotel and catering industry. He holds the pride of having received various awards and accolades during his stint with reputed players in the hospitality industry like Le Royal Meridian, Taj Air Caterers and Hotel Abu Palace.


He also hosts a number of Culinary Shows in the Television media, and judges various Cookery competitions. 

So far, he has trained over 8,600 students in the culinary industry.

He is exclusively known for his live carving sessions where he carves out exemplary displays out of Fruits, Vegetables, Ice, Butter, Chocolate, etc.  His Records in Carving are:
