Engaging Children's Mind through Books in this annual summer holidays !

The holidays time had started or going to start in few weeks in some schools.
It's time to engage the Children's mind. It's time for parents, caretakers time to worry a lot. Plan for the trips will help you to engage them for few days. The children's lose interest in new places in 2-3 days, once there Curious Minds are not fed properly.
Sending them continously for various classes, scheduling their time for the whole day, will not bring in the results you expect.
Let them break their routine in the holidays.
Let them not be thrown from 1 school to another school.
Instead buy them books, will tingle them the habit of reading.
There are lot of books on puzzles, stories, activity books, sticker books, arts based books-painting/ colouring / craft books, exposure to science books-to understand the practicals behind the theory they learnt in their text books.
As an adult, we look forward for a weekend to break the routine. Let the children be a child in these holidays. You can send them for 1 class during these holidays.
Children safety is more important. If you allow them to play outside, be with them. Let them swing in the park, play in the streets, get wounded.
Play with your children. The happiness of playing with you, will remain in their evergreen memories list.
Bring them a food habit of reducing/ avoiding junk food. Introduce them ancient indian foods, let their palates get introduced to such tastes.
Instead of cool drinks, give them tender coconut, Nungu, lemon juice, Buttermilk etc.
Teach Moral Lessons through stories. Discipline their habits.
Make use of this opportunity to engage your children in a Right Way !!! Parenting is not a task. Gift your children of their time. Let them Plan their day of activities.
